main objective: to analyse, formalize and map APIs for shipping operational and IT processes

Technical service analysis and integration

Review of customer integration processes in local BUs
Analysis of local BUs technical customer specification (API specification, JSON and XML formats)
Identification of local specific processes and rules
Definition of common standard mechanisms across Group for various products and services offered
Participation in the elaboration of common shipping processes for large pan-EU customers
Proposal for 3rd system to Meta API data mapping and rules (25+ dependencies currently integrated)
Proposal for solutions of management of specific local rules to fit the Group API standard

Support of the project

Requirements gathering and documentation
Test scenarios and test cases description
Development tasks description, ticket creation (Jira)
API Functional testing (Insomnia/Postman)
Maintenance and updates of technical project documentation and mappings
Participation in workshops and technical activities with local BU Customer Integration IT teams

Requirement

Experience in transport, parcel delivery industry, e-commerce or curious quick learner
Written and spoken professional English
Ability to synthesize and to organize complex and scattered information
Maintenance and organization of the technical documentation
Proficient with JSON, XML data formats and understanding of data format hierarchy
Understanding of REST architecture patterns and of the basics of HTTP/SOAP protocols
Experience with any API testing tool (Insomnia, Postman, SoapUI...)
Interested in monitoring and debugging backend API applications (Grafana, Loki)
Analysis of technical documentation (WebService, Specification, Process)
Understanding of BPMN, UML, Swagger
Sense of responsibility and ability to work autonomously on defined perimeter
Understanding of Agile methodologies and of software development lifecycle
Understanding of API technical processes (authentication mechanisms, message structures, typical error management, etc)
