Business Challenge 

Our partner’s previous licensing systems were not designed to support a cloud-based subscription model. 

The various portals and systems operated in isolation, lacking scalability, a seamless user experience, and efficient support for sales and customer management processes. 

The company’s strategic objective was to enable users to transition smoothly from traditional perpetual licenses to flexible, subscription-based models, while modernizing both sales and customer service operations.

Solution

Since 2017, our collaboration has focused on the development and operational support of cloud-based systems that enable our partner’s software licensing and sales processes. ása áll.


The project focused on integrating the license management system that supports product sales processes. 

We designed an architecture that enabled the seamless integration of the license management solution into the existing business and IT ecosystem. 

The system’s microservices are built on a .NET-based backend, with message-driven communication between components. 

Development processes follow CI/CD principles implemented in an Azure DevOps environment, while the entire infrastructure is deployed on Microsoft Azure. 


A key requirement was to ensure that the previous licensing systems remained fully operational. As a result, the legacy systems and the new license management solution operate in parallel. Data synchronization is event-driven, ensuring consistent operation between the two environments for as long as users continue to rely on legacy licensing models. 

 

Results

As part of the implemented solution, new business portals were developed to enable both end users and corporate clients to manage licensing and access rights through a transparent, efficient, and self-service process. 


Our partner successfully launched the transition to a cloud-based subscription model, supported by the core infrastructure developed by Abesse. 

Through the digitalization of licensing and sales processes, customer satisfaction has increased while administrative workload has been significantly reduced.
